Let's start with something easy...Nap time :)

Ready, set, nap !
This week I am going to get on a nap schedule. I know what you are thinking , we all must be so lucky to be as to schedule a nap during the day. The reason this is such a big deal is it throws the whole day in to craziness because Peyton still wakes up about every 4 hours being in NICU she ate at the exact same times everyday for 55 days, and now even though she eats more and sometimes is not even hungry she still doesn't sleep for extended amounts yet. So by mid day mommy is dragging I had tried to give up on napping but that just made everything worse! I would fall asleep late in the day or after Jeremy got home. This became a downward spiral because then I could not fall asleep, so the next day I was dragging from insomnia and being up with Peyton. So I am going to schedule nap time, let's try for 11:30am. Hopefully this makes for a less cranky and more productive evening.

This is how I would like things to go but trial and error may prove me wrong

I tried to figure out how I wanted to do this so here is the plan for now.
Each week I am going try introducing a new routine each week but we will see if we get the hang of it before I introduce the next step.
Example: For example dinner at 6:30 for a solid week, if we have success we introduce something new the next week. If there is no success well I will try to figure out why.
I would live to snap my fingers and have a fully scheduled day that flows beautifully by day one, but lets face it life happens.
Along with setting up our schedule each week I am adding a personal goal such as getting rid of pop in the house or even just getting the laundry done before it becomes Mount Everest.
Well here we go........

And god created new parents, this is our journey to get on a schedule

We will see how this goes! This is our journey going from a carefree, family of two to organization.
Before Peyton we did not on any kind of schedule mainly due to work schedules and honestly just bad habits.
Now baby has brought a tornado to our house, new with no schedule is making mommy very tired.
Peyton is on a decent schedule well as much as you can get a newborn on.
As for mommy I am exhausted half the time from just thinking about what I need to do that day. I even think about getting to bed on time but don't seem to get there. After no structure for years from all night study sessions, to crazy work schedules I have always just coasted. So the thinking is going to turn into doing. I created this blog more for reinforcement for myself, but hopefully a few people will get some laughs and I may get tips.
